Quick start
This guide applies to published Blender packages. Illustrative previews and coming-soon assets do not include a download yet. Check the asset’s availability and supported Blender version before you start.
Download the asset ZIP, extract it into your project library, then open or append from the included native .blend file.
- Check the supported Blender version on the asset page.
- Keep the
texturesfolder beside the .blend file. - Use File → Append or add the folder to Blender’s Asset Libraries.

Example package layout. The included README and the asset page list the files supplied with each release.
Blender Asset Browser
Open Preferences → File Paths → Asset Libraries, add the extracted QUADS folder and save preferences. In the Asset Browser, choose that library and wait for previews to load. If the package has no marked assets, use File → Append and select its Collection instead.
QUADS packages use relative texture paths. Move the complete folder rather than the .blend file alone.
Textures and missing files
Extract the entire archive before opening the .blend file. Pink surfaces usually mean Blender cannot find an image texture. Choose File → External Data → Find Missing Files, select the extracted textures folder, then save a copy of your scene.
Use the render engine and minimum Blender version listed on the asset page. For material packages, follow the supplied README for texture connections, scale and color-space settings; color maps and data maps are not interchangeable.
Updates
Check your library and the asset’s version notes for published updates. Keep a backup of the version used in an active project, and test an update in a duplicate scene before replacing your working files.
Support
If a package will not open or a texture is missing, contact QUADS with the asset name, Blender version, operating system, exact error and a screenshot. For a purchase issue, include the order reference, never your password or payment-card details.
For feature ideas or a material you cannot find, use the request board.
